NOTHING TO GET IN MLADÁ BOLESLAV'S ICE CHEST

The SKN Women's Champions League supplement in Mladá Boleslav against Slavia Prague ended with a defeat on Thursday.
The harsh wind of the Champions League blew past the Wolves' 0-1 defeat in the fourth round match against Slavia Prague in Mladá Boleslav. Just in the St. Pölten women's strongest phase, the Czech Michaela Khýrová scored the winning goal for Slavia, who put a lot of pressure right from the start and made life really difficult for the guests from Lower Austria. It was only after twenty minutes that the St. Pölten women found their way into the game better in temperatures just below freezing.
With the restart, substitutes Mateja Zver and Valentina Mädl provided a breath of fresh air in the attack. A noticeable upswing that was abruptly stopped after the 0-1 score. Mädl and Brunnthaler caused dangerous scenes in the opposing penalty area several times, and even with a double chance from Sarah Mattner and Melanie Brunnthaler, Slavia's defense remained victorious. This ends this year's Champions League adventure for the SKN women in two weeks against Brann, who are now mathematically out of the running for second place. The top game against Lyon follows next Thursday in the NV Arena.
