The quarter-final duel between the hosts USV Neulengbach and defending champion St. Pölten was exciting until the end. Zver and Meyer ensure the St. Pölten women's 3-1 win in the Wienerwaldstadion in extra time.
After the narrow defeat in the league, the hosts of the USV Neulengbach gained hope for the Lower Austrian derby in the SPORTLAND Lower Austria Cup against the defending champions, went into the game highly motivated and made life difficult for the she-wolves from St. Pölten.
