Lesson from the record champion

Even at halftime, things in the NV Arena were clearly in favor of the guests from Lyon, and in the end the French won the Champions League group game against St. Pölten 7-0.
Olympique Lyon, one of the best European women's teams, came to the NV Arena for the last home game of the Champions League group phase on Thursday evening. However, the Wolves' anticipation quickly faded and with a Lyon double strike midway through the first half, the fair in St. Pölten was quickly read. After another goal from Hegerberg, the score was finally turned in favor of the guests before the break.
But the bravely fighting St. Pölten women had to fish the ball out of the net four more times in the second 45 minutes. Gilles, Marozsán, Diani and again Sarah Däbritz made the final score 7-0, with several great saves Carina Schlüter prevented an even greater defeat. Next week we'll finish off in Bergen, where the group game against Brann is on the program on Wednesday from 6.45 p.m.
