After the important victory last night, our pack has little time to catch its breath: Game two of the quarter-final series against the Traiskirchen Lions will take place tomorrow evening at 7:00 p.m.! And you want to secure your second victory en suite.
For some experts within the Austrian basketball scene, our Wolves' opening victory came as a surprise. Now the pack wants to prove that this success was no fluke and further expand its advantage in this quarter-final series.
It is clear to everyone involved that this undertaking will be just as difficult as the opening match in Traiskirchen. The Lions, who started the series as favorites, will certainly be out for revenge. Nevertheless, the Wolves' ranks believe in their own strengths.
“In the first play-off game we showed what is possible when we play together as a team and follow the game plan. “Now we definitely want to go one better in the first home game of the series,” says Matej Kavas, summarizing the route for the next 40 minutes. Steven Kaltenbrunner, for his part, takes the same line: “This first success gave us another push. But we know that we haven't achieved anything yet. It’s important to push our limits again in the second game, work hard on both sides of the court and do everything we can to get the second point.”
In addition to a concentrated performance, loud support from the stands will also be important. That's why we need every single fan to whip our pack forward on Tuesday from 7 p.m.!
