A courageous performance in Bergen was not rewarded

It wasn't until stoppage time that host Brann Bergen celebrated the 2-1 winning goal; up until then, the SKN's She-Wolves had shown an appealing performance, which ultimately went unrewarded.

Winter conditions in Bergen awaited host Brann and the SKN St. Pölten she-wolves in the final Champions League game of Group B, in which the St. Pölten women took an early lead thanks to a goal from Sarah Mattner. The celebration didn't last too long, however, and after twenty minutes Kielland equalized in favor of the hosts.

After the break, the St. Pölten women continued to play well and were able to test the Norwegians several times. Diana Lemešová was just a few centimeters away from scoring a goal. In difficult conditions, both teams entered the final phase on equal terms, with Eikeland scoring the winning goal for Brann in stoppage time. A bitter blow in the neck for the St. Pölten women, who narrowly missed winning a point in Bergen.

Next SKN compulsory game on March 10th against Neulengbach
The group phase for the SKN women ends with fourth place in the group, the only point the Wolves scored was in a goalless draw against Slavia Prague in St. Pölten. The SKN's next competitive game will be in the cup against Neulengbach on March 10th.
